Porsche 911 Cup (992.2)

Rear-engined · Naturally aspirated flat-6 · Downforce 2/5

A rear-engined Cup car: huge traction once pointed and a rear that needs respect on entry. It is not a GT3 R, but the same layout lesson applies — do not throw it at the apex and hope.

Brake while straight, release cleanly, and let the rear take a set before you ask for yaw. Use the traction on the way out.

Symptoms this car reads differently

Steps out on entry
The rear is where the mass is. An abrupt release or late trail can step it. Bleed into the turn.
Snaps on exit
Traction is strong, but not with a still-loaded wheel. Straighten, then go.
Loose at the apex
A mid-corner lift in a rear-engined car is a statement. Hold the platform.
