Cancelling
Go to your profile and choose Manage billing. That opens our payment provider's own page, where you can cancel, change your card or download invoices.
Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not cut you off immediately. You keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for, because you paid for it.
Refunds
If you are unhappy in the first 14 days, write to finn@cornerlab.ca and you get your money back. No reason required and no argument. This applies to your first payment.
After that, a membership is not refunded for the current month by default, because you had access to it. If something went wrong — the site was down, you were charged twice, you meant to cancel and did not — write to finn@cornerlab.ca and it will be sorted out. Almost every case of somebody asking honestly gets refunded.
Refunds are issued by our payment provider to the original payment method, usually within five to ten business days.
If you are in the EU or the UK
You have a statutory right to withdraw from a contract for digital services within 14 days.
Access begins immediately when you subscribe, which is the point of buying it. Under the consumer rules, starting a digital service inside the withdrawal period requires your express consent, and doing so means you lose the automatic right to withdraw once supply has begun. You are asked to agree to both at checkout — if you would rather not, do not tick it, and the subscription will not start.
This does not affect the 14-day refund above, which we offer regardless of where you live and regardless of the statutory position.
Chargebacks
Please write to finn@cornerlab.ca before opening a dispute with your bank. A refund takes a few minutes; a chargeback takes weeks and costs both of us. There is no case here where asking first gets you a worse outcome.
