Corner Lab

Your car, the corner, and what it's doing there — the setup changes worth trying, in order.

Terms of service

These terms cover using Corner Lab, free or paid. They are short on purpose.

Last updated 7 September 2026.

Who you are dealing with

Corner Lab is run by an individual based in British Columbia, Canada. Contact: finn@cornerlab.ca.

Payments are handled by Polar, who act as the seller of record. When you buy a membership your contract for that purchase is with Polar, and their terms apply to the transaction. Everything about the service itself is covered here.

What a membership buys

A membership gives access to the ranked setup answers for every car at every corner on the site, for as long as the membership is active. It is billed monthly, and it renews until you cancel.

The free tier stays free. The rookie season — the Mazda MX-5 Cup and the BMW M2 Cup at every circuit they visit — along with every car page, every lap guide and every symptom explainer, is available without paying. That is a commitment, not a trial.

Content is added and revised over time. A membership buys access to what is on the site while it is active, not to a fixed list of pages.

What this advice is, and is not

Corner Lab gives you a starting point, not a guarantee. The ordering comes from a rule-based system applied the same way every time, using the car's archetype and what a corner demands. It is a considered opinion about what to try first. It is not telemetry, it is not a fitted setup, and it cannot know your driving, your hardware or your session.

You are responsible for what you change and for how you drive. Nothing here is a promise of lap time, race result or licence progression.

Corner Lab is not affiliated with iRacing or with any manufacturer, series or circuit. Names are used descriptively to say which car and which corner is being discussed.

Your account

Signing in is by emailed link, so whoever controls your email address controls your account. Keep it secure.

One account is for one person. Sharing an account or a membership is not permitted, and neither is scraping the site, bulk-downloading it, or republishing the content as your own.

You can close your account at any time by writing to finn@cornerlab.ca. We may close an account that is being used to do any of the things above, and will refund the unused part of the current month if we do.

Cancelling and refunds

Cancel any time from your profile. See the refund and cancellation policy for what happens to the money.

Availability

This is a small site run by one person. It should be up; it is not promised to be. There is no service level agreement, and no compensation for downtime beyond the refund policy.

If the service is discontinued, active memberships will be cancelled and the unused part of the current month refunded.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Corner Lab is provided as it is, and liability for any loss arising from using it is limited to what you have paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, you keep every right your local law gives you — these terms do not replace them.

Changes and law

These terms may change. A material change will be announced on this page with a new date, and if you do not accept it you can cancel.

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove the protections of your own country's law or your right to bring a claim there.
