Ford Mustang GT4

Front-engined · Naturally aspirated V8 · Downforce 2/5

A front-engined Mustang in GT4 trim: honest V8 delivery, a big footprint, and less downforce than the GT3. It rewards deliberate braking and a tidy return to power.

Brake while straight, rotate once, then use the V8 as the steering opens. Do not ask GT3 aero to save a late apex.

Symptoms this car reads differently

Pushes on entry
Front engine and size. Slow it earlier than the mid-engined GT4s.
Snaps on exit
Plenty of torque for the tyre. Throttle with the wheel, not against it.
Falls off over the stint
Rear tyre life when exits are slides. Tidy first.
