Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR-LMH

Mid-engined · Naturally aspirated V12 · Downforce 5/5

An LMH hypercar rather than the shared LMDh package, with a big naturally aspirated V12 and no hybrid system, unlike the other GTP cars. Enormous aero once the speed is up, and nothing to deploy or harvest.

Platform first: keep the car calm over bumps and kerbs so the aero can keep working.

Symptoms this car reads differently

Nervous at high speed
At speed the car is glued. High-speed snaps are usually platform or a late lift, not a missing wing click.
Pushes at the apex
Below the aero window it needs mechanical rotation. Do not chase a high-speed understeer fix for a slow-corner push.
Runs wide on power
Hybrid behaviour is simplified in iRacing — still treat exit drive as platform and tyre, not a deploy map.

What this car's answers lean on

Compared with other GTP cars

  1. Ride height, heave, bump stops — aero platform control
  2. Wing and rake
  3. Braking system — bias, ABS, pressure
  4. Damper clicks
  5. Free changes — driving, not setup
  6. Differential and engine braking
  7. In-car driver aids and gearing

What you cannot change on this car

  • The differential is fixed on this car.
  • This car has no adjustable aerodynamics.
  • This car has no adjustable ABS level.
