Pushes at the apexUndersteer family
Fixed setup. The garage is shut for this car. The order below is unchanged — what would work still would — but anything you cannot reach is greyed where it stands.
T2–4 The Triple — Three corners that behave as one, with no time for the car to settle between them.
Technique — Drive the last of the three. Getting the first two right and the last one wrong loses more than the reverse.
Steady-state, so this is a mechanical or aero grip split, not a damper problem. Dampers will not fix this.
Carried as a shut garage until iRacing's own material says otherwise: the ranking is technique, which is true whatever the garage turns out to allow.
  1. 01
    Hold one steady input1 inputtechnique

Sawing at the wheel through a corner never lets the front tyre settle at a slip angle, so it spends the whole corner somewhere below its best.

None. A quiet wheel is faster almost everywhere.

  2. 02
Open the wheel and wait for it⅛ turntechnique

Mid-corner push is a front tyre being asked for more angle than it has grip for. Less angle is more grip, and the car comes back to you.

Requires trusting the car for about half a second. That is the hard part.

  3. 03
Slow the entry, wait for the car5 km/htechnique

Overdriving the entry saturates the front tyre into understeer you cannot unwind before the exit.

None — costs nothing to test.

  4. 04
    Softer front anti-roll bar1 clickbar

Lets the front axle roll and build slip angle, adding front grip as the car takes its set.

Fixed-setup car — nothing in the garage is adjustable.

  5. 05
Use the full width on entry1 car widthtechnique

A wider entry makes the corner's radius larger, which is the only way to ask less of a front tyre without going slower.

Needs the room to be there. Check your mirrors first.

  6. 06
    Lower front tyre pressure0.5 psityre

Bigger front contact patch. Verify against carcass temps rather than guessing.

Fixed-setup car — nothing in the garage is adjustable.

  7. 07
    Stiffer rear anti-roll bar1 clickbar

Takes rear grip away to shift balance toward rotation.

Fixed-setup car — nothing in the garage is adjustable.

  8. 08
    More front negative camber0.1°geo

Keeps the loaded front tyre flat at full roll. Only helps if the outer shoulder is running hot.

Fixed-setup car — nothing in the garage is adjustable.

  9. 09
    Softer front springsone stepspring

Front grip, plus a lower nose under load which adds a little front downforce as a bonus.

Fixed-setup car — nothing in the garage is adjustable.

  10. 10
More rake — raise the rear1–2 mmaero

Shifts aero balance forward. Only meaningful where there's real speed.

Fixed-setup car — nothing in the garage is adjustable.
