Hyundai Elantra N TCR

Front-engined · Turbocharged I4 · Downforce 1/5

A front-drive TCR saloon: the front axle brakes, turns and puts the power down. It rotates willingly when the rear is light, then pushes if you ask the loaded outside-front to pull and steer at once.

Finish the rotation off-throttle, open the wheel, then use the turbo. Protect the front tyre every lap.

Symptoms this car reads differently

Steps out on entry
Under hard braking the rear is lightly loaded; a sudden release can snap yaw. Bleed the pedal before adding lock.
Pushes at the apex
The front is already busy. More steering only heats the outside tyre — wait for the car to finish rotating.
Runs wide on power
Classic FWD power understeer. Unwind before committing to boost rather than asking one tyre to do two jobs.
Falls off over the stint
Front tyres pay for rushed entries and early throttle. Cleaner rotation keeps them alive.
